Order picking
The automatic routing system from pLG WMS divides customer orders into customized picking orders to ensure optimal processing.
In addition to the short distances, the picking sequence can also be based on the item weight: heavy items at the bottom, lighter items on top.
Shipping
If large-volume, heavy items or items that require refrigeration are purchased together, they can be distributed to special shipping packaging and tracked during the delivery process.

Item properties & stock
pLG WMS masters the handling of best-before dates and/or expiration dates. Picking strategies such as FEFO (Firste Expire – First Out) or FIFO (First In – First Out) in all variants also depend on this. The article properties also affect the storage areas: Chilled items are assigned to the appropriate temperature-controlled storage locations.
