The C-conveyor: ideal for intralogistics in industry and trade
The C-conveyor is a so-called vertical conveyor. Unlike S-conveyors, which are typically elevator systems, C-conveyors are used to bridge the height within a material system. This often refers to automated systems.
As unit loads are moved vertically (upwards or downwards), only a small amount of space is required for the use of a C-conveyor. This leaves more space for additional storage capacity.
The advantages of a C-conveyor at a glance:
- Easy, vertical handling of stored goods
- Large space saving compared to inclined conveyors (inclined conveying)
- High conveying capacity
- Low noise development
- Food handling possible
Application areas of a C-conveyor
The C-conveyor is designed as a vertical conveyor so that all levels of the conveyor system are accessible. The continuous movement ensures a safe material flow. C-conveyors are therefore generally used in intralogistics, e.g., upstream of a high-bay warehouse.
