Dispatch processing

Dispatch processing is a major part of logistics and is the final process before the ordered items leave the retailer and are sent to the customer.

The process:

Once a product is ready for dispatch, it is forwarded to the dispatch processing department, which ensures that the goods are picked swiftly. The required items are removed from the warehouse and booked out until they are packed ready for transportation. The goods are then handed over to a forwarding agent who delivers them reliably to the customer.
