Dortmund, 22th january 2025 – The companies active logistics and cargo support Group have been operating jointly under the new name proLogistik Transportation GmbH since January 14, 2025. proLogistik Transportation GmbH is part of the proLogistik Group and expands the group’s product portfolio with solutions in the field of transportation.
The renaming is a clear signal to all customers and suppliers, emphasizing the market presence of the proLogistik Group as a unified entity. With the new name reflecting the close integration within the group, the company further strengthens its position under the established proLogistik Group brand as a comprehensive provider of sustainable and modern software solutions. This marks the next step in the strategy to offer a comprehensive platform solution along the entire supply chain.
Already in December 2022, active logistics GmbH joined the proLogistik Group, enhancing the group’s product portfolio with efficient solutions such as Transport Management Systems, route planning, and notifications.
The cargo support Group, including its associated companies cargo support service GmbH and MAXFLEX Software GmbH, has previously provided logistics software to service, industrial, and trading companies focused on container transport, partial and full loads, heavy goods, or new furniture.
The former Managing Director of active logistics GmbH, Dirk de Beer, is gradually handing over management responsibilities to the current authorized signatory, Hannes Rabenstein. Dirk de Beer will remain closely connected with the group as an external consultant. Dirk de Beer: “Three years ago, we began the transformation of active logistics GmbH from a historic market leader in legacy TMS to a leading provider of digital solutions for the transportation industry. This merger is the final step and enables us to accelerate our innovative solutions for our customers in the coming months and years under the umbrella of the proLogistik Group.”
