About Ritter Products AG and Rigaflex AG
Ritter Products AG, based in Erlinsbach (Canton Solothurn), operates its own logistics platform with over 6,000 pallet spaces together with its sister company Rigaflex AG. Ritter Products offers a wide range of products from the Home Living & Utility, Garden & Do it areas as well as the corresponding services. The Rigaflex AG range consists of non-food products for the catering trade.

The warehouse structure
The main warehouse of both companies is located in Erlinsbach (approx. 6,000 m2 and 6,000 pallet spaces). The outdoor location in Schönenwerd has approx. 3,000 m2 and 3,000 pallet spaces.

After analyzing the logistics processes, Dataphone began to tailor the LOGIS MOVE warehouse management software to the needs of Ritter Products AG. - LOGIS MOVE is connected to Ritter’s ERP system via an interface. By exchanging data, goods receipts recorded in LOGIS MOVE are compared directly with open orders and the stock is updated online.
- Purchasing, sales and administration have access to up-to-date inventory data at all times.
Warehouse organization
- Today, all picking stations at Ritter Products / Rigaflex are permanently assigned. With LOGIS MOVE, warehousing can be organized chaotically. This means that only the space actually required is occupied by the items in stock.
- During putaway, LOGIS MOVE also takes into account the physical requirements of the storage location, such as the storage compartment height.
- If required, the warehouse can be divided into different zones and storage areas so that LOGIS MOVE optimally allocates the items according to the stored strategies.
