What are dangerous goods?

Dangerous goods can be substances or objects that can become dangerous for the environment and people during transportation. Due to legal regulations, these goods must be specially marked for the public.

Hazardous goods labeling must have the following properties:

  • Warning sign
  • 40 cm x 30 cm
  • Color is mostly orange
  • Panel is rectangular
  • Provided with numbers under certain conditions

The goods that are shipped must also be individually marked with a hazard label. The warning sign and the hazard label provide information on the composition of the goods and give quick instructions on what to do in the event of an accident.

  • Explosives
  • Gases
  • Corrosive, radioactive or toxic substances
  • Chemicals
